Did you know that May is Pregnancy Awareness Month? Pregnancy is a wonderful thing to celebrate and deserves a month of its own.
Expectant moms in Chicago have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. May is Pregnancy Awareness Month and Chicago is celebrating in a big way thanks to the efforts of Bump Club Chicago and Fit Pregnancy. GoldenView Ultrasound is also excited about being a part of these great events. GoldenView Ultrasound will be giving away gift cards in the goody bags and will be raffling off several 3d/4d Ultrasound sessions. Goodies and Prizes will be available from several other pregnancy and baby related businesses.
There are 4 big events throughout the month of May 2011 in Chicago catering to pregnant women and new moms.
The big event for Pregnancy Awareness Month is May 21st
THE BEST OF BUMP CLUB and BEYOND WITH SPECIAL GUEST ALAN FIELDS, BEST-SELLING AUTHOR OF BABY BARGAINS
This incredible event, taking place at Chicago’s own Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, will showcase the best of Bump Club and Beyond!
• Mini-sessions from our Resident Experts: Janeen Hayward of Swellbeing (sleep); Kathy Lipke, RN, IBCLC (Lactation); Lara Field of FEED (Forming Early Eating Decisions)(nutrition) and Erin Krex of First Class Care, Inc. (Childcare)
• Author of Bump It Up, and TV Personality, Amy Tara Koch will be on hand with her Signature Style Lounge.
• Our keynote speaker, Alan Fields, best-selling author of Baby Bargains will wrap up the day with an incredible talk: “Skimp vs. Splurge, What to Buy and What to Skip” based off of his book!
• Everyone will get a copy of Baby Bargains in their incredible gift bag featuring products from our sponsors!

Sunday, May 1, 2011(rain date May 7th)-SPECIAL BEAUTIFUL BELLIES AND BEYOND MAY FITNESS EVENT with Stroller Strides Chicago:
We will KICK-OFF Pregnancy Awareness Month in Chicago with a HUGE Fit4Baby (9am pre-natal) class, followed by a Stroller Strides Fitness class (10:30 am for moms). All proceeds for this event will go to Chicago’s Bundle of Joy Diaper Bank.

GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT SPRING and SUMMER SHOPPING SPECTACULAR! at Krista K and Krista K Maternity + Baby! Both shops are steps from one another allowing for both moms and moms-to-be to take advantage of 20% off at both stores all night long! We will have food, fun, giveaways, gift bags and more as our moms and moms-to-be pamper themselves and carve out some “me time” with their friends!
