When is the best time?
Although 4D ultrasound images can be obtained at any stage, the best time for chubby cheeks and facial features is 26-32 weeks. The best time for determining gender, seeing unfelt fetal movements and getting an overall look at the body is 22-25 weeks. We do offer gender determination starting at 18 weeks provided that you have already had a 2nd trimester full diagnostic ultrasound.
